Те, кого земляне принимают за инопланетян, на самом деле – не что иное, как самая настоящая нечистая сила! Об этом заявил на недавнем уфологическом семинаре, организованном Латвийским центром исследований аномальных явлений, священник рижского Свято-Троицкого кафедрального собора Борис Бакуменко.
Какими бы спорными ни являлись подобные утверждения, доля истины в этом есть, даже на придирчивый взгляд уфологов.
Так, вечером 25 октября 1973 г. в районе Гринсбурга (западная Пенсильвания) около 15 человек наблюдали издалека парящий над полем красный шар. Фермер Стивен Пуласки вместе с двумя 10-летними мальчиками, сели в автомобиль и отправились посмотреть на это чудо вблизи.
Когда они подъехали поближе к объекту, фары машины Пуласки вдруг потускнели, издавая лишь слабое свечение. Шар, испуская ослепительно яркий белый свет, стал снижаться над полем.
Вскоре они уже смогли хорошо его рассмотреть. Диаметр НЛО составлял примерно сто футов, он имел куполообразную форму и издавал звуки, похожие на стрекотание газонокосилки.
Вдруг один из мальчиков закричал. Он заметил нечто, движущееся вдоль изгороди по направлению к ним. Фермер выхватил винтовку, которую предусмотрительно захватил с собой, и влепил заряд туда, где, по его расчетам, находился пришелец. Вспышка выхватила из темноты двух странных существ. Они были очень высокого роста – 7 или 8 футов. Руки у гуманоидов свисали почти до земли, глаза были зеленовато-желтыми, а тело покрыто длинными темно-серыми волосами. Когда незваные гости подошли совсем близко, люди ощутили исходящий от них запах паленой резины. Пришельцы издавали хнычущие звуки, напоминающие детский плач - возможно, так они общались между собой.
Пуласки еще трижды выстрелил, целясь в более рослого гуманоида. Тот захныкал и поднял правую руку. В тот же миг шар исчез, оставив на поле светящееся белое пятно. Один из мальчиков испугался и бросился бежать. А «инопланетяне» медленно повернулись и двинулись в сторону рощи. Вскоре они скрылись из глаз. Видимо, выстрелы не нанесли существам никакого вреда, но они поняли, что человек агрессивно настроен, и передумали вступать в контакт.
Позднее Стивен Пуласки показал это место исследователям из Группы по изучению НЛО округа Уэстморленд (ГИНЛООУ). И тут начались чудеса! Собака стала вести себя так, словно охотилась на кого-то невидимого, а несколько человек почувствовали «аромат» серы…
Но самое удивительное приключилось с Пуласки. Он внезапно словно потерял рассудок и принялся бегать кругами, размахивая руками и рыча по-звериному. Мужчина бормотал странные фразы вроде того, что, «если человечество не исправится, то ему придет конец…» Затем фермер в изнеможении упал на землю и затих.
Придя в себя, Пуласки рассказал, что перед ним явилась Смерть с косой в руке, а из рощи слышался голос, звавший его по имени…
Речь идет лишь об одном эпизоде из целой «серии» контактов, охватившей в 1973 г. Западную Пенсильванию. В шести округах штата, по сведениям ГИНЛООУ, очевидцы наблюдали десятки покрытых шерстью существ. Иногда они внезапно появлялись и исчезали прямо на глазах, иногда люди видели лишь оставленные ими следы. В некоторых случаях от них исходил зловонный запах. Однажды пришельцы убили цыплят на ферме, в другой раз разорвали на куски сенбернара, разодрали глотку ручному оленю. Некий Пьер ван Пассен сообщил, что его овчарки вступили в бой с «оборотнями» и дрались до трех пор, пока одна из собак не издохла… Но людей эти твари никогда не трогали.
Парапсихологи полагают, что пенсильванские «оборотни» были созданы какими-то неизвестными силами. Угрожающего вида монстры, терзающие животных, оставляющие после себя запах серы, как нельзя точнее соответствуют человеческим представлениям о выходцах из ада… Так что служители церкви в какой-то степени правы!
