Древняя карта с изображением Атлантиды
Легенды индейцев Навахо учат, что пращуры человека появились из-под земли. Древние люди обладали сверхъестественной силой, но им пришлось уйти из своих пещер после наводнения (эхо традиционного мифа об Атлантиде). Оказавшись на поверхности земли, они, прежде чем искать себе убежище, передали человеку огромные знания.
А в мифологии индейских племен пуэбло (юго-запад США) подземный мир — это место рождения их богов, связанное с людьми на поверхности через дыру где-то на севере. Месева, по мнению пуэбло, после своего брата Ойойевы стал главным среди богов. Некоторые исследователи отмечают, что этот миф довольно похож на еврейскую концепцию бога Яхве.
В течение нескольких лет сторонники той или иной теории связывали Атлантиду с мифами о Полой Земле:
1. древняя раса гоминидов, которая жила за миллион лет до Homo sapiens, ушла из мира на поверхности земли, и это породило легенды об Атлантиде;
2. Атлантида — реальный доисторический мир сверхнауки — взорвалась и рассыпалась на мелкие части, а оставшиеся в живых атланты нашли под земной корой убежище от радиоактивных выбросов;
3. внеземные гуманоиды основали колонию на Земле и пытались поднять уровень развития младших по разуму Homo sapiens, но потом пришли в ужас от бесконечного варварства вокруг и отступили еще дальше, под землю, положив начало легендам об Атлантиде как о потерянной цивилизации.
В апреле 1942 года нацистская Германия, пытаясь найти выгодный с точки зрения ведения боевых действий пункт, направила экспедицию в район Полой Земли. И хотя Третий Рейх прилагал все усилия, чтобы победить в войне, Геринг, Гиммлер и Гитлер с энтузиазмом поддержали этот проект. Фюрер был убежден, что Земля имеет вогнутую поверхность, а человек живет внутри земного шара. Поэтому в экспедицию пошли блестящие специалисты по радарной технике, которым предстояло определять положение кораблей британского флота, так как по идее на вогнутой земной поверхности с помощью инфракрасных лучей можно вести наблюдение с дальнего расстояния. Нацистские сторонники гипотезы Полой Земли направили экспедицию на остров Рюген': они были полностью уверены в своей мистической версии и в том, что представители всесильной подземной расы время от времени поднимаются на поверхность, чтобы погулять по Земле.
Гитлер стремился создать господствующую расу нордического типа и увидеть немцев избранными для взаимосвязи со сверхсуществами — с последующим рождением нового поколения героев и полубогов.
В газете «Морнинг оф Мэджишнз» Луи Пауэлс и Жак Берже цитируют Германна Раушнинга, губернатора Данцига во времена Третьего Рейха, который рассказал о своей беседе с Гитлером относительно его плана «помочь» природе в создании мутантов. Фюрер сказал Раушнингу: «Этот новый человек живет среди нас! Он уже здесь! Разве вам этого недостаточно? Я открою вам тайну. Я видел его! Он — бесстрашный и жестокий. Он напугал меня». Раушнинг вспоминал, что Гитлер, говоря эти слова, находился в состоянии экстаза.
Именно Раушнинг узнал от «близкого к Гитлеру лица», что фюрер часто просыпался по ночам, бился в конвульсиях и кричал: «Он пришел ко мне! Он стоит в углу передо мной! Он поднялся из своей подземной обители, чтобы посягнуть на мою спальню!»
В предисловии к своей книге «Полая Земля» (издательство «Филдкрест Паблишинг Ко.», Нью-Йорк) доктор Рэймонд Бернард говорит, что в своем романе он пытается доказать:
«Земля — полая, а не твердая сфера... и ее внутренняя пустота сообщается с поверхностью посредством двух полярных отверстий...»;
«.. .наблюдения и открытия адмирала Ричарда Е. Бир-да... подтверждают правильность этой революционной теории...»;
«...Северный и Южный полюса никогда не были достижимыми, потому что их не существует...»;
В феврале 1947 года морской летчик лейтенант-коммандор Дэвид Банджер открыл «Оазис Банджера» в Антарктике. Примерно в то же время, когда адмирал Бирд нашел «землю за полюсом», Банджер вместе со своим экипажем летал в глубь Антарктиды со стороны шельфового ледника Шеклтона на побережье Земли Королевы Мэри и Земли Уилкса2, где обнаружил ряд тепловодных озер (Банджер проверил это, посадив свой гидроплан на один из водоемов, который с двух сторон был окружен громадными 30-метровыми ледяными стенами, а с двух других имел пологие склоны). Могли ли эти озера образоваться благодаря теплым ветрам из внутренней сферы Земли?
В своей «Полой Земле» Бернард рассказывает о фотографии, опубликованной в 1960 году в Торонто в журнале «Глоуб энд Мэйл», где изображена красивейшая долина с пышными зелеными холмами. Летчик — автор этого снимка — заявил, что фотография была сделана из его самолета, когда он пролетал «за Северным полюсом».
Рэй Палмер, обожающий собирать странные и спорные факты, обнаружил вот что: овцебык в зимнее время мигрирует на север; медведи тоже отправляются в северные районы, хотя там может не быть корма; даже упитанных лис часто замечали бегущими на север. По мнению Палмера, исследователи Арктики согласны с тем, что чем дальше на север, тем теплее: недалеко от Северного полюса северный ветер приносит более теплую погоду; к берегу прибиваются вечнозеленые деревья, которые дрейфуют с севера, где, казалось бы, вовсе нет растений. Бабочек и пчел видели далеко на севере, но ни разу — за тысячи километров южнее.
«Обнаружены цветы разнообразной окраски и причудливых форм, — пишет Палмер. — Сходство здешних и наших птиц поражает, но в отличие от любых известных видов пернатых они никогда не улетают с севера. Там, где ничего не растет, очень много зайцев: растения приносят северные воды, не скованные льдами. Следы стоянок эскимосов всегда направлены на север, да и сами эскимосы-южане рассказывают о племенах своих сородичей, живущих на крайнем севере. Розовая чайка — обычная птица на мысе Барроу— в октябре мигрирует на север. Только «таинственная земля» адмирала Бирда может пролить свет на эти необъяснимые факты миграции людей и животных».
Многие писатели сравнивали Ультима Туле, далекий северный рай в скандинавских легендах, с царством Полой Земли. Историки уже давно называют раем викингов Гренландию, но они не учитывают то, что ледяная корка этого острова вряд ли подходит для какого бы то ни было рая.
У Рэя Палмера есть кое-какие интересные наблюдения относительно Антарктики и района Южного полюса:
«Новозеландские и южноамериканские континентальные массивы населяет идентичная флора и фауна, представители которой, возможно, не мигрировали с одного материка на другой, тем не менее у них была общая родина... Антарктида. Наиболее известный случай произошел в 1893 году с парусным судном «Глэдис» под командованием капитана Ф. В. Хэтфил-да. В районе 43 градусов южной широты и 33 градусов западной долготы корабль окружили айсберги. Команда судна решила осмотреть один из них (на нем было больше всего песка и земли) и увидела протоптанную дорожку, убежище в укромном, защищенном уголке и пять мертвых тел. Но из-за плохой погоды дальше исследовать айсберг было невозможно».
Палмер напоминает, что в Антарктиде не живут люди, поэтому эти трупы не принадлежали уроженцам здешних мест. Проведенное позже расследование показало, что на то время не поступало никаких сообщений о судах, пропавших в Антарктике, так что это не могли быть тела моряков, потерпевших кораблекрушение.
«Могло ли так случиться, — спрашивает Палмер, — что люди, которые умерли на айсберге, приплыли из этой «мистической земли за Южным полюсом», открытой экспедицией Бирда? А что, если они рискнули уйти из своей теплой, благоприятной для жизни земли, заблудились в дороге по ледяному шельфу и в конце концов решили дрейфовать навстречу смерти по морю на отломившемся куске этого шельфа, который превратился в айсберг уже после того, как они на него попали?»
Говоря об айсбергах, нельзя не вспомнить один странный факт: эти ледяные горы формируются из пресной, а не из соленой морской воды, как кому-то может показаться.
Может быть, это вода рек, которые текут в сторону моря из Полой Земли? Итальянский специалист по части Антарктики — Берначчи как-то сказал, что за 11,5 месяца, в течение которых он там зимовал, выпало всего лишь 50 миллиметров дождевых осадков; и хотя часто шел снег, глубоких сугробов никогда не наметало.
«Где можно найти материал для айсбергов в таких условиях? — спрашивает Берначчи. — А ведь один из тех, что находятся здесь, — самый крупный на земле: он имеет такие размеры, что его даже называют не айсбергом, а Большим Ледяным Барьером; его длина — более 700 километров, а ширина — 90 километров».
Сторонники теории Полой Земли, указывая на загадку этого айсберга, непреклонны в том, что такие ледяные горы были сформированы не в Арктике и окружающих ее океанских просторах соленой воды.
В своей книге «Путешествие внутри Земли» (1920 г.) Маршалл Б. Гарднер с помощью пресноводного состава айсберга доказывает теорию, согласно которой мамонты и другие доисторические животные (подобные тем, чьи останки были найдены в толще льда) продолжают жить в теплом климате внутренней поверхности Земли. По мнению Гарднера, эти животные попадают на поверхность Земли благодаря течению пресноводных рек, в которых они и замерзают, когда вода на полюсе превращается в лед.
В связи с находкой замороженных мамонтов в зоне Арктики возникает множество интересных вопросов независимо от нашей веры в то, что эти гигантские животные все еще бродят в джунглях Внутренней Земли. Например, в желудке одного мамонта были обнаружены непереваренные кусочки папоротника и других тропических растений — а это невозможно в арктическом климате. И конечно же, преувеличением является теория ледникового периода, который наступил так стремительно, что огромные лохматые мамонты замерзли, не успев доесть свой завтрак.
Насчет замороженных останков арктических мамонтов Рэй Палмер говорит так: «Действительно, смерть, должно быть, наступила внезапно, но не потому, что Арктика сначала была зоной тропиков, а потом здесь резко изменился климат и все замерзло. Неожиданное наступление ледникового периода не было причиной гибели животных: в их смерти виновата природа самой Арктики, и эта трагедия могла произойти в любое время. С наступлением ледникового периода мамонты вымерли только в нашем мире, а в таинственных землях за полярным крутом их действительно видели живыми члены экспедиции Бирда. (Как в то время сообщалось в новостях, «экспедиция Бирда обнаружила огромное косматое животное, неизвестное науке».)»
В декабрьском выпуске журнала «Летающие тарелки» (1959 г.) Палмер отказался от своего убеждения о внеземном происхождении НЛО: исследователь предположил, что они прибывают из «неведомых обширных мест» — вполне возможно, это «таинственная земля за полюсом».
В то же время Палмер предложил уфологам изучать летающие тарелки с точки зрения теории Полой Земли и призвал их собирать любые, даже очень противоречивые факты. «Теперь, когда мы определили самое логичное место происхождения летающих тарелок (на его существовании мы упорно настаиваем, поскольку межзвездное происхождение НЛО предполагает совершенно непонятные для нас факторы), мы считаем, что НЛО вылетают из нашей собственной Земли...
...Если внутри Земля населена высокообразованной и прогрессивной расой, мы должны установить с ее представителями контакт; кроме того, если у них есть большой научный потенциал, который включает и военную составляющую, — мы не должны делать из них врагов...
.. .Летающая тарелка — это наиболее важный исторический факт... Адмирал Бирд нашел новую таинственную землю — центр «Великого Неизвестного», — которая стала самым значимым открытием всех времен.
